Cuomo also said that the town of Southampton, New York, where the concert was held, will no longer be able to approve permits for gatherings without getting the state’s approval.in July that the state’s Department of Health would investigate the concert as it garnered backlash, saying he was “appalled” by the apparent “egregious social distancing violations” and “illegal and reckless endangerment of public health.
