I guess that does with whatever poll particular people were reading; we fully expected Sir Hopkins to win because that's what we were reading and understanding that he was the favourite to win. We're kinda perplexed why everyone is so shocked.
Stop trying to stir things up because you know where this is going...Hopkins gave a career best performance. Boseman was fantastic in his own right. God bless him. But it was not the best performance of the year by an actor.

It was a bummer. Hopkins is great actor, but also was Boseman. ChadwickBoseman should of receive Oscar while he was alive for his outstanding performances. This was the last chance to honor his memory. Yet Oscar, as usual,chose to remain biased and unfair.
Anthony Hopkins is a tremendous actor.
