It's an opinion shared by a lot of people. He didn't say anything hurtful or use a slur of any kind. Ask any deeply religious person what they think and they'll say the same thing. Had he begun by saying, 'My religion teaches me that'...... would he have been treated the same?
But the name Eskimos is cool?
The CFL itself also blasted Jones ... saying in a statement of its own, 'There is no place in our league for commentary that disparages people on the basis of their religion, race, gender or sexual orientation.' He was fired from a team called the “Eskimos”. Let that sink in.

I have a gay child. I have friends and other family members that belong to the LGBT group. Im not sure he should lose his job over these. I mean I work with people that feel the same and they cant be fired. it's his beliefs. He's not refusing service Or threatening anyone
