Familiar names like former Chargers quarterback Drew Brews and Top Chef alums Michael Voltaggio and Rocco Di Spirito will be on hand for the nearly weeklong event in October.

Celebrities — from both the culinary and sports worlds — have committed to a nearly weeklong celebration of food and wine in Del Mar this fall, marking the return of a festival that made its debut last year.

Former Padres players and Padres CEO Erik Greupner will join Brees in a pickleball tournament he's hosting, and San Diego's new Major League Soccer team, San Diego FC, will host a Tacos, Tortas, and Tequila Opening Night Party. An overnight trip to Valle de Guadalupe will feature tastings from prominent winemakers and restaurateurs there.
