CDC Director Robert Redfield said President Trump should 'set an example' by wearing a mask as he also warned the upcoming convergence of flu season and Covid could be “one of the most difficult times that we have experienced in American public health'

CDC Director Robert Redfield on Tuesday said President Donald Trump should "set an example" by wearing a mask as he also warned the upcoming convergence of flu season and the coronavirus could be “one of the most difficult times that we have experienced in American public health."

“Keeping the health system from being overstretched is really going to be important,” he said during an interview with the medical journal JAMA. “To the degree we’re going to be able to do that will define how well we will be able to get through the fall and winter.” He added that masking "is not a political issue — it's a public health issue." He said although the president and vice president can"easily justify" not wearing masks because they have access to frequent testing and know they are not infected, "we need them to set the example."

There is no example to be set with masks, they are talismans.

Too late !! Yo set any examples (good ones!!) ---

Progressive revelation of the truth by the bravest warrior scientist Dr. Yan. Hope people can feel the ominous warning between the lines. We are running out of time.

Show us the actual scientific proof that outside health facilities where sick people are , it stops Covid in the general population . Viruses are so small they pass through pores in china dish ware .

Maybe start getting ready at some point prior to ten minutes before it happens?

MAGA2020 is a death cult.

Escaped the trump trap

Redfield and other admin health officials have repeatedly warned about the potentially challenging flu season and called on Americans to get their flu shot this year. His comments today are among the most dire warnings he's issued so far about the virus

Get a flu shot!

I always wear a mask

The better example would be Trump's resignation.

ultimate kiss ass.

“Could be”. These words are used often in propaganda media

CALL GOV. DESANTIS (850) 717- 9337 MESSAGE: STOCKPILE, REFURBISH SUPPLIES: PPE, RESPIRATORS IN FLORIDA NOW; ADD MORE HOSPITAL BEDS 1. SHUT DOWN FLORIDA 2. NO INDOOR GOP/RNC CONVENTION IN JACKSONVILLE !! 3. DO NOT OPEN FLORIDA SCHOOLS IN AUGUST 4. MANDATORY MASKS CALL DAILY

He's counting on it chief

President orange did set an example. Months ago. 136k deaths later we are seeing the results of that example.

And this is what Trump wants. A virus out of control will enable him to use an executive order and invoke some type of lockdown for the safety of the country or some BS.We cant let the GOP kill us off with this stupid approach to the Corona virus. We have to keep the pressure on.

Blah blah blah .... basically he is saying that to stay relevant and be on all the news talk shows and media etc. frauds.

More difficult? Greeeaaaat....

Yes, an orange powdered mask.👍🙋‍♂️🙊🙈

Trump owns it no matter what

What's the over/under on the good DR looking for new employment?

Flu season won’t be nearly as bad this year.

FYI, get your flu shots early this year

How is saving lives that hard for Trump? I mean it’s just crazy.

Why? microns Matter
