As questions loom about when TV production can safely resume amid the coronavirus pandemic, CBS announced its nightly lineup for fall 2020.

unveiled its fall schedule – but no actual premiere dates – in a virtual presentation for journalists and advertisers. The roughly 25-minute video featured appearances from popular CBS talent such as Iain Armitage and LL Cool J , who announced the days of the week their respective shows would air. But the presentation offered no insight into how or when CBS plans to resume TV production with new COVID-19 safety measures in place.

The 2020-21 lineup includes three new shows and 23 returning series. Among them: the previously announced"B Positive," a new comedy from"The Big Bang Theory" producer Chuck Lorre airing Thursdays this fall;"The Equalizer," a reboot of the '80s crime drama now starring Queen Latifah, airing Sundays ; and long-running reality competition"Survivor," which will continue to air Wednesdays .

The network's"Clarice," a series-length sequel to"The Silence of the Lambs" starring Rebecca Breeds , is also coming soon but no day is attached yet.

CBS Leaves Fall TV Schedule Largely Untouched Amid CoronavirusComing off its 12th consecutive season as the most-watched broadcast network, CBS is adding only three new shows as the pandemic keeps production sidelined.
