Winner, and still champion: CBS finished the traditional television season, which ended last week, as the most-watched broadcaster for the 12th consecutive year, the Nielsen company says.

FILER - In this Aug. 1, 2017 file photo, Iain Armitage, left, a cast member in the CBS series "Young Sheldon," answers a question as executive producer/narrator Jim Parsons looks on during a panel discussion at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills, Calif. CBS has earned the distinction of television's most-watched network for the 12th season in a row, and for the 17th time in the last 18 years.

CBS has won for so long the distinction has lost much of the meaning it had when the streak began. Broadcast networks no longer dominate the television landscape as they used to and, with streaming and cable networks a big part of the mix, TV doesn’t effectively turn out the lights in the summer the way it once did.

Three of the four top networks lost viewership compared to last season, which isn’t unusual in this era of more entertainment choice.

HOW!!! MOST OF THE SHOWS SUCK!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I literally stopped watching any CBS programming when I had to pay for re-runs of star trek that had been free for 40+ years. I even quit watching NCIS whether new or reruns. Screw it.

I'M A LITTLE BOY! OBEY ME XD

What is CBS?

Joe Rogan get's more traffic.

The biggest piece of an ever diminishing pie.

CBS 'down 15 percent' from last season should be the headline.

Love dr Sheldon and cast-:)(

Ok, boomers

There isn't one show on CBS that I watch, outside of sports.

People are still watching broadcast networks?

Tell that to CBS news...

This is like saying Dopey is the tallest dwarf.

And what network was the Dukes Of Hazzard on?

Who are these people that still watch TV?

OMG, THIS IS SO SUPER IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, why are you guys the way that you are?

I’m shocked that in the year 2020 people rely on network tv for their nightly entertainment.

Old ass country

Not really shocking

Am I the only person who cannot stand this show?

Y’all...We aren’t worth saving.

Great to hear. Loved The Lincoln Lawyer. Finding someone to fill Mathew McConaughy’s shoes will be the biggest challenge. He embodied the character of Mickey Haller! Thrilled it will run on Amazon. Connellybooks I enjoyed the movie, Never read the book, but followed the TV show until it ended. This would be great to see it revived at Amazon or Netflix!!
