The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s El Paso Office of Field Operations announced it would be suspending operations at a port of entry so workers can assist in processing migrants.

CBP’s El Paso Office of Field Operations announced last week that starting Monday it would temporarily suspend cargo processing at the Bridge of the Americas port of entry. The agency did not specify a date when it would return to normal operations, only that it would do so"as quickly as feasible."U.S. Border Patrol

The statement continued:"The BOTA cargo lot is typically open from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the suspension of service, members of the trade community may consider the nearby Ysleta, Santa Teresa, or Marcelino Serna cargo facilities as alternative entry points."
