I put this in a lasagna I made for my family and they absolutely loved it! They said if they didn't know better, they would have thought the sauce had meat in it. I stuck to the recipe for the most part, the only difference was my grocery store was out of shiitake and crimini mushrooms so I had to use baby bellas instead. There wasn't as much of a meat flavor as there would have been but the sauce was still amazing. I would absolutely make this again.
Knocked my socks off! Further to the one of the posts, I cooked it nice and long between each step and it turned out great, wouldn't change a thing. I did have to boil down the mushrooms for quite a bit but that was my only hurdle. Will definitely make again!Yes, but I'd keep the meat in the sauce and sub the cauliflower in larger chunks as a replacement for the pasta. We don't eat many carbs, and haven't for over 5 years.

You can put a great sauce on any vegetable you like.
It may be good. It may be great, but if it's vegetarian then it cannot be bolognese.
It has to be a joke, because this is not what then Italian Academy of Cuisine calls Bolognese. We need to start protecting the original recipes the same way we do with agricultural and livestock products. Protected Designation of Origin Products (PDO)

Your recipe for the homemade infused oils can kill people, it dosen't say to refrigerate it, which when left at room temp for 24 hours can produce botulism and kill you.
'bastardized classic' is my least favorite food category.
If it is not made the traditional way it is not Bolognese
