Just got home from punta cana… literally the same thing happening there. Tons of Russian tourists stuck(which affects the vacancy for other, incoming vacationers). There was talk about them chartering a private jet to get everyone home.

I’ve witnessed Russian tourists in Thailand and it is a very ugly thing. They are brutally rude and aggressive towards the Thai people. Once known as the “Land of Smiles” Russian tourists have ended all that. My condolences to the Thai people for the current situation.
