Billionaire developer Rick Caruso spent roughly $100 million in the race for mayor of Los Angeles, yet lost to Democratic Party favorite Rep. Karen Bass , whom he vastly outspent, as late ballots were counted.
Caruso is one of several moderate Democrats to learn what Republicans, by now, how found out: that when the party activists want to win an election in a big city, they are capable of turning out the ballots necessary to do it. Another Democrat who learned the same lesson was State Sen. Bob Hertzberg , who led the race for county supervisor until West Hollywood mayor Lindsey Horvath caught up to him and soon surpassed him.
Indeed, like many Republican candidates who fell short against Democrats around the country, Caruso focused on turning out voters, while the Bass campaign, drawing on loyal party activists, focused on turning out ballots.
He better file suit to see how election was stolen from him.
California is solidly blue. The goal with the organized crime wave is to drive blue democrats out to Nevada and Arizona and Texas to continue their voting patterns in battleground states.
Too bad the Crime Homelessness and poverty will continue in LA.. Voters are apathetic.

You have to cheat and steal elections not debate. CA has had 1 party rule for over a decade, they invented ballot harvesting. Millions of dollars are spent to take ballots from lazy , uninformed and fill out the ballot for them ... that is how you win

LA is a cesspool of corruption. Between LA city LA county and the other cities Pasadena, LB, SM $2Billion dollars is budgeted for homeless. 65k homeless pop. that's $30k per homeless person. WHERE'S THE MONEY GOING?

To bad he had so much to offer. We know why Karen Bass won. Yet again they looked for ballots under the rocks so she could win. It was obvious who was going to help Los Angeles better but that’s politics. Next time lets wait 3 weeks to call the winner.
