Why buy a new car to sit in the driveway? The old one's do that too.
They would have to offer discounts up to 60-70% just to get real sales in this day and age during this situation.

Don't know where they are getting their stats. In our area, there have been record sales, new and used, for the last 4 months.
What discounts?
If you are unemployed, about to lose your job, or suffering from coronavirus, you are not about to run out and buy a new car or do any other frivolous spending. It is just common sense.
