Can schools mandate Covid-19 vaccines? How effective are the shots among children? Here's what we know about whether school districts or state legislatures can mandate the vaccine for K-12 and college students

in adolescents ages 12 to 17, setting up the potential availability of a second vaccine option for adolescents.

About 23% of youths 12 to 15 years old have received at least one dose of the Pfizer vaccine since U.S. health regulators cleared it for use among that age group last month, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About 51% of people are in favor of mandating vaccines for middle-school students, 56% for high-school students and 61% for college students, according to a Gallup poll of more than 3,500 adults conducted in May.

About 53% of parents of children between the ages of 12 and 15 said they plan to have their child vaccinated. The same percentage of parents of children under 12 said they planned to have their children vaccinated once the green light is given.

NO

They actually can.

Looks like home school programs are going to explode even further than they already have if this gene therapy is mandated.

Not public schools. You can't mandate any citizen to participate in any medical trial. NurembergCode

Just say they got it. Medical records are protected. Don’t risk your child’s health with an experimental vaccine.

A question I’d love answered: if all school district mandated the vaccine for eligible students, would there even be enough supply in the US to cover all those students? I keep seeing this topic reported on but I’ve never seen the math related to it.

The simple answer to this is 'No' based on the emergency status of approval and the fact that children under 12 aren't able to receive it. Those things change then there is some discussion.
