Call Me Kat Season 3 Will Feature A Big Bang Theory Reunion

Call Me Kat season 3 is set to include a fun Big Bang Theory reunion. Largely based on the British sitcom Miranda, with Mayim Bialik taking over the titular role, Call Me Kat debuted on Fox in January 2021. The series began by focusing on the everyday occurrences of Bialik's character as she runs a cat cafe in Louisville, and features a talented comedic cast in supporting roles that includes Cheyenne Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant, Leslie Jordan, and Swoosie Kurt.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Call Me Kat is just as notable, however, for digging into Bialik's past and present roles in order to pull off some surprising cameos. In its second season, the series featured a Blossom revival that brought back Michael Stoyanov, Joey Lawrence, and Jenna von Oÿ to portray themselves and reunite with Bialik — who, of course, played the main character on Blossom.

Sussman, who recently had a memorable guest turn on Better Call Saul's final season, first appeared as Stuart in The Big Bang Theory season 2. He crosses paths with Amy Farrah Fowler in season 5, and they strike up a conversation about comic books. Though things seem to be headed in a romantic direction for the pair, at least for a time, Stuart ultimately serves as more of a catalyst in bringing the Big Bang couple of Amy and Sheldon together.

The guest turns, from both Jennings and Sussman, are one of several developments in Call Me Kat. The new episodes, which kick off on September 29, will see Kat try for a reset after working so hard on her café for a few years. And, after a trip around the world, she'll focus on whether she's ready to begin her journey to motherhood. By all accounts, it looks to be a busy season that will begin with the presence of a few familiar faces.
