Gavin Newsom signed an executive order Wednesday that amounts to the most aggressive clean-car policy in the U.S. and would end the sale of new gas vehicles in the state in 15 years. Until charging a car is as fast as filling a gas tank this is unrealistic especially in the west where distance and mountains are a real issue with electric vehicles. If it’s so urgent, why wait? they will need to overhaul and update their grid quite a bit i would think.
