A Mediterranean-style home on California’s Newport Coast has sold for $38 million.
The deal, which comes three months after the home listed for $45 million, falls just short of the record for the area, which is about 90 miles north of San Diego. The record of $40 million was set in 2017, according to a spokesman for Rex McKown and Marcy Weinstein of Compass, who had represented the $38 million property.
