Chick-fil-A's drive-thru lane heightens the odds of traffic collisions and pedestrians getting injured.

Updated on: March 15, 2022 / 3:24 PMChick-fil-A is causing some squawking in Santa Barbara, California, where the fast-food chain is finding itself to be a victim of its own success. Namely, the city is close to dubbing it a"public nuisance" due to long drive-thru lines that often has cars filled with hungry customers backed into the street for hours at a time.

Chick-fil-A's drive-thru lane heightens the odds of traffic collisions and pedestrians getting injured. At peak-volume, the drive-through blocks one lane of traffic for as much as 90 minutes on weekdays and for as much as 155 minutes on Saturdays, according to a city traffic report. Chick-fil-A representatives asked the council to delay the nuisance designation and give it additional time to work on the fixing the problem. The council agreed to continued a public hearing until June 7.

"In the past, it felt like the complaints were taken half-seriously," resident Rick Closson told the Los."Over the years, you've had Chick-fil-A putting together their fixes that really did not do much to fix the traffic problem. But then you have the city coming forward with a possible nuisance title, and the corporation is now saying, 'Oh my goodness, please just give us more time to solve this.

Anybody that uses a drive through is not only a lazy piece of shit but also increases the risk of a wrong order. It’s soft.

People hooked on those little tiny nuggets they charge so much for …

Why would anyone want to live in California?

We want are Mac and cheese that’s why!

Most bigots are public nuisances. Chick filet a is no exception

Good

The sodium alone is a nuisance

I mean... They have a point anyways. It is quite a small footprint for a Chick-Fil-A, considering how much traffic they inevitably bring. Not taking a stance on whether or not they should consider it a 'public nuisance', who knows what that could entail.

All the Chick-fil-A restaurants near me have all been knocked down and remodeled. Usually they actually shift the building to better accommodate traffic and more cars.

I told my children this months ago.We are in NJ.The person outside was so a car driving past a huge accident waiting to happen.

It’s a cult clientele. Close them down or at least make them pay for whatever construction is necessary to keep their sheep out of normal peoples way!

Queuing Theory

Watching heightens the odds that you'll see some really retarded reporting.

It's the drivers, not Chick-fil-A

All those previous attacks failed to even dent them, but you guys hate them so much that you look for any small detail and report it like its news
