So-called safe injection sites offer treatment and connect users with social services such as housing.

A fentanyl user holds a needle. In a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, fentanyl is considered the third wave of the opioid epidemic behind prescription pain medications and heroin.

“All we are saying is let’s give people treatment earlier than later,” Eggman said. “We are in no way condoning drug abuse. What we are saying is having a drug addiction should not be a death sentence.”AB 362 marks Eggman’s third attempt to pass such legislation.

Well that should attract more heroin users to SF and Cali. Great.

Will these drug users be expected to work and contribute to society, or just get high all day and night? Too bad no one thinks teaching these people real life skills is part of the solution, just enabling them more to generate more revenue... 🤑

Great, create more drug addicts instead of solving the problem. Why do they need “safe” injection sites when they can shoot up, shit and piss anywhere they want now with no repercussions and leave their needle all over the streets. These social programs have only created more

hell ,give them all hot shots, once you inject heroin, your useless

cam we also creat a 'safe car break in' site next to the safe injection site. so it's easier for the junkies to break into my car

I’m surprised the state doesn’t supply the heroine too

Dum

Watching liberals destroy a city from afar is intriguing and remorseful at the same time. I honestly wish you guys all the best.

Sick and sad . Instead of helping them live a full life, give them the okay to ruin themselves an society.

THIS is the type of bill needed to combat addiction in the US. Not locking up people or sending them to a faulty rehab program that has a low turnaround rate.

what a joke, tax payers are going to pay for junkies keep injecting that poison while still paying for cleansing for human disposes?

Safe injection sites save lives.
