WASHINGTON - Businessman Tom Steyer poured $64.7 million of his own wealth in January into his bid to win the Democratic presidential nomination, for a total spend of $267 million, a campaign finance disclosure showed on Thursday. Steyer’s spending is of historic proportion, but is dwarfed by that of rival candidate billionaire Michael Bloomberg, who pumped $220.6 million of his own funds into his bid the same month, for a total of $409 million since launching his campaign in November.

No prayer. What a waist of money. ““I think we need to give reparations! Idiot!

Who?

Bloomberg pumped 200m into his in January alone.

Stupid

lmao.

Disposable income being spent instead of hoarded... Winner winner...

mizdonna How many poor people could have used that versus his failing campaign ?

He should just make 64 people millionaires he probably would win more votes.

Mr. Steyer, the people have rejected you. No amount of money can change that. If money was all one needed to be President, Bezos, Bloomberg, Gates, or Buffet would be President. Accept that the problem is you, and accept that your dream of attaining what you seek is forever lost.

Another one with more money than brains!

And he’s dropped out now too!

Chump change

Meh... better than a old communist. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why not pump to flip the Senate? It’s MORE important than the WH.

Who?

Please go away.

No, billionaires do not represent you. They only want to avoid tax.

Oboi

He could help so many families with that money 😒 these people are sick

Lol why tho?

🙄

And NOBODY is even talking about him! I could have used some of that money!🙄

Hey Tom, TomSteyer , stop wasting your money. Thanks! Sincerely, America

Who?

Steyer is like the Dollar Store version of Bloomberg...

Just imagine you had 64.7 million to literally flush down the toilet. There's no way Steyer thought he was going to win this thing.

He could house a lot of those homeless he cares about.

Respectfully, give up please.

Dude. Stop.

Why?
