Burger King say it's removing preservatives from its Whoppers.

Burger King announced Wednesday the company is removing preservatives from its Whoppers. To prove it, the fast-food giant is running an ad campaign that shows what its signature sandwich looks like more 30 days after being cooked: moldy and disgusting.

In"The Moldy Whopper" ad, Burger King displays the decay of the burger over 34 days in a time lapse. By the end, the sandwich is a vivid shade of green-blue. "the beauty of real food is that it gets ugly. that’s why we are rolling out a WHOPPER® that is free from artificial preservatives. isn’t it beautiful,"

It's better for you..Mr fleming can't be all wrong!

The deeply cynical side of me can't help but wonder if the intent is to desensitize customers to the idea of being served rotting food. 'This bun is moldy' 'That's right, sir! All part of Burger King's commitment to beautiful, natural, preservative-free food. HaveItYourWay!'

Is this reverse psychology to help me with my New Years resolution. If so thanks!

Hats off to them.

More appetizing than a 30 year old Big Mac that looks an hour old, I love this campaign. The Impossible Whopper is 2 for $6 right now, too. BK is better than McD's.

I ate at Burger King on Christmas Day because no other restaurant was open. What a pleasant surprise! The hamburger was much better than expected. I'll be going back.

Imma just leave this here👀

Maybe this will bring back that authentic taste

Vom. Mistake. Somebody is going to get canned.

I’m confused

lol i’ll stick with mcdonalds 🍟 broken ice cream machine and all 😄

Nice visual.

BurgerKing should fire its marketing firm. After looking at this ad, the last thing that appeals to me is a hamburger.

MattZionWE this sounds interesting.

Um, but isn’t the point to eat your burger before 30 days? Is Burger King pulling a Kim K?

And selling them looking like this!!!

If they want me to come back they're going to have to add grease back into their burgers. I'm tired of eating a fast food burger that has been washed in water to remove grease before assembly. I consider that a heinous Burger crime.

Disgusting

First they remove the meat, then they remove the preservatives (flavor). Liberals are ruining every part of our society.

What about high cholesterol?

Blue cheese melting over? FUCKING GENIUS

Oh boy. ScottAdamsSays very persuasive, no? 😂
