Marko Simonovi becomes the 17th player, along with head coach Billy Donovan, to enter COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

The Bulls play the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday at the United Center. The Hawks continue to deal with COVID-19 troubles of their own. As of Wednesday morning, 13 Hawks players are in protocols, and two are out due to injury.

Bogdan Bogdanović, Gorgui Dieng and Malik Ellison entered protocols the morning after the Bulls' 130-118 victory in Atlanta Monday night; Bogdanović and Dieng each logged significant minutes in that game.The Bulls are without Lonzo Ball, Tony Bradley, Ersan Ilyasova and Alfonzo McKinnie, who all in protocols, as well as Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams . Derrick Jones Jr. is questionable with a sore hamstring.

From 10 to 5 days that's good news the protocols are crazy. you have to be isolated 10 days. if you don't have any symptoms but just test positive that shouldn't warrant a 10 day isolation period. you should be good after 5. well it depends on the person to be understanding. The new CDC 5-day protocol calls for wearing masks for 5 days following isolation. Is the NBA going to require its players to wear masks on the bench and the floor after day 6? How about you stop testing people that aren’t sick
