BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After pulling off what was said to be the unthinkable taking down the #1 team in the state, the Wildcats made it to the final game of the Class 7A Championship run and faced Hoover.
Coach Rhett Harrelson says he did not see the same fight from this squad as he did on Thursday. The Wildcats struggled to get much going ultimately falling to Hoover. The team had a hard time stopping a near 7-footer in Dewayne Brown as well as last year’s tournament MVP Salim London.
