The fire, dubbed the Porter Fire, had burned at least two acres as of 4 p.m. Sunday, and has reached "Major Emergency status" according to LAFD. The fire ignited near 11200 Porter Ranch Drive, south of the 118 Freeway, and is approaching heavy vegetation, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
