Soon after the tour kicked off in February,t as band members Steven Van Zandt and violinist/singer Soozie Tyrell missed Texas gigs after testing positive; saxophonist Jake Clemons and half of the E Street’s touring backup singers also missed subsequent dates.
However, despite all the absences, Springsteen and company powered through… until their March 9 gig in Columbus, Ohio was postponed due to illness; the band hasn’t announced which member got sick, but they must be vital enough to prevent E Street as a whole from performing. Tonight’s show at Mohegan Sun Arena was officially postponed Saturday, and Tuesday’s gig at Albany’s MVP Arena will similarly have to be rescheduled, the band announced Sunday.
The more jabs you get, the more you wreck your immune system.

Went to my first Springsteen concert at age 14. I’m 46 yrs old now. I’ve seen them 6 times. Going to lucky number seven this summer. Rock on!
We are still in a pandemic and people, a lot of them, are getting COVID. So, they need to rest and recover. Plus these musicians are in their 60s-70s. It’s all good, they are vaxxed, will survive, and rebook the shows.
Bruce Oldsteen should hang up his touring guitar.
