The shooting has led to rewards, a re-examination of subway cameras and New York's mayor telling America about gun control.

President Joe Biden sent his thoughts and prayers to those impacted by Tuesday's attack on a Brooklyn subway.

"My team has been in touch with city officials and we are working to support efforts on the ground," Biden said. On Monday, Biden announced action to fight gun crime in the United States, including disrupting illegal gun trafficking, community policing and community violence interruption. He added the answer is to"fund" the police, not defund.
