The United Kingdom's flagship carrier, owned by International Airlines Group , said in a statement Thursday that it is implementing a"furlough scheme" to minimize the financial impact of the coronavirus on staff.After talks with unions, British Airways agreed to provide workers with 80% of their regular pay, with no cap on earnings, according to the major UK union, Unite.
