The release date for Bring Out the Dead 4K and Blu-ray has been revealed for the 25th anniversary of Martin Scorsese's Nicolas Cage movie.

“Cage plays Frank Pierce, a paramedic on the brink of madness, while Patricia Arquette is portraying the daughter of a man Frank tried to save,” reads the synopsis. “Together, they’ll need to confront the ghosts of the past to discover redemption among the living.”For the first time ever, the remastered version of Bringing Out the Dead will be available to purchase in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray starting on September 17, 2024.

The film was directed by Scorsese from a screenplay written by Paul Schrader, which served as the creative duo’s fourth collaboration together. Besides Cage and Arquette, the film also starred John Goodman, Ving Rhames, and Tom Sizemore. Despite its poor box office performance during its original theatrical run, the film received favorable reviews from critics.
