Brexit drove Tesla to pick Berlin over Britain for new factory: report

The company had earlier said it chose a location near Berlin for a new design center and plant to make batteries, powertrains and vehicles, offering a major boost to the German capital. Britain’s vote to leave the European Union has hurt foreign investment because the country’s future trading relationship with the EU is still not clear, more than three years after the referendum.

If Brexit-Britain will not get a good deal the other car factories will also leave Brexit-Britain in the next few years

EU is a bigger market than UK. UK - EU trade relations post Brexit is not clear. EU is more focused and committed to environment. UK is plunging into dark period with extremist + super idiot Boris Johnson. If it's Europe it makes business sense to be with EU than UK.
