Family and supporters of Breonna Taylor said that a Kentucky grand jury's lack of homicide charges against the police offers who fatally shot Taylor is 'outrageous and offensive to Breonna's memory.'

Taylor, a licensed EMT, was fatally shot by police serving a search warrant of her Kentucky home on March 13, 2020.

on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree, but neither he nor the other two officers involved in the fatal encounter were charged in Taylor's death. Police stand guard as people react after a decision in the criminal case against police officers involved in the death of Breonna Taylor, Sept. 23, 2020, who was shot dead by police in her apartment, in Louisville, Ky.

As a result, Crump said,"The rallying cries that have been echoing throughout the nation have been once again ignored by a justice system that claims to serve the people. But when a justice system only acts in the best interest of the most privileged and whitest among us, it has failed."Tamika Palmer, the mother of Breonna Taylor, speaks during a protest on Sept.

The attorney said he hoped that, through the FBI's ongoing investigation,"we will finally finally get the justice for Breonna that the Grand Jury refused her today."From left, Sgt. Can anyone articulate why?

There's zero accountability when it comes to the police. They lie, alter and cover up for each other. Even obstruction of justice they get away with. We have LivoniaPD rapistcops Rick Ostrowski, Mike Murphy.

Sorry. Twitter character limitation causes inability to list all the FakeNews and outright lies in this article. This is not news, it is incitement written for a purpose. Jouralism is an anachronism .

Also anyone who has ever been shot at in the CONUS region.

I wish their family had taught her not to get involved with criminals.

She was neck deep in drug sales

The jury has spoken. Go away

I see this picture and I feel her pain but at the same time I understand , based on what has been reported, the decision by the grand jury. This is a loss for everyone. A true catch 22 .

🤬🤬🤬

$12m makes it all better though. You took the hush money & that’s on you.

Sorry for their loss, but this is pure ignorance on their part. Their daughter was part of a drug ring. Her name was on the warrant. The police knocked and identified. Her criminal boyfriend shot at the police. They returned fire. If anything, her boyfriend is to blame.

It’s an unfortunate tragedy but there is no law that the officers can be charged with violating. All they had to do is not shoot at the cops and answer the door.

Her boyfriend is responsible for her death.

Victims family is certainly in a position to weigh rational argument, evidence, and constitutional law

Good job BLM and media, you just got cops shot in KY by spreading lies about this justified shooting! It was a knock and announce warrant, they entered, were shot at and fired back! Shot that killed Taylor was self defense! Hope you’re proud!

GET OVER THE BULLSHIT AND GO SPEND THE MILLIONS $$$ YOU ALL AND ATTORNEY WERE PAID AND QUIT TRYING TO GET MORE...!!

The City of Louisville settled with Breonna's family for $12 million. If the family is so offended, why did they take the money?

I cannot imagine their grief but the facts do not support a murder charge. Not all tragedies are criminal.

If she was any other color besides black not a word would have been said!!!

Outrageous, the police knocked loudly and announced that they were the police and they were serving a warrant. The warrant named both Brianna and her boyfriend. Boyfriend shot at the police and the police returned fire. The boyfriend should be charged, This is a sham

Once again the police make the case for defunding themselves.

What did they expect, really And they really don't mind a few rowdy protesters, they were prepared for that, you can't have it both ways, you got paid for the Justice they delivered.!!!!!

Her daughter was a criminal drug runner who fired on the police when they knocked on her door with a warrant.

So now they're pissed at a grand jury that couldn't convict because the cops literally did nothing wrong. It was a terrible, terrible accident. The police didn't intend on killing her. If they weren't shot at, they more than likely wouldn't have shot their guns.

Since the media had a false narrative to spew, I never knew that her boyfriend shot first. While her death is tragic, that right there changes the whole thing.

No what is offensive is the false narrative that the family and media are putting out. Drug dealers who fire on police officers are a danger to society. FalseNarrative

She stood behind het boyfriend who fired FIRST at police, the police did not even see her

BreonnaTaylor did not deserved to die. Officer shot from a back window with ZERO visibility. Unbelievable. NRA has no response. Very telling

They got $12 million dollars from the city. They got what they came for, stop making a scene.

No one in Breonna family heard Breonna cry from the grave, For if they did they would have heard her say get Justice before the money, because they bought their Freedom when you took the Check, For as long as they took, You think they were going to be fair

No charges probably would have been less offensive than only charging the cop for putting the neighbors in danger. But there was pressure to come up with some charges, and this was the best they could do, under the law.

Hey folks at least understand the facts ... she certainly was no angel 👼🏽

Suck it up. The law is not there to serve the black community only. Don’t like an outcome the terrorists BLM sook it up. BLM and Antifa should be named as a terrorist group like ISIS.

A tragic death but not an intentional murder in the eyes of the law.

How about not having a drug dealer as your boyfriend?

I haven't followed the case and don't know if the verdict was the right one. But if it was wrong, it wasn't for that reason.

The FACTS don’t care about her feelings

But that is not the case, why are you reporting lies.

Bad guy shot cops first. Cops were defending themselves. Pretty simple.

The blame is on her boyfriend he made the First move by firing His weapon at the cops He should be charged With murder not the Cop's

I have zero pity for anyone involved with thugs and thugging around themselves

I would say wanting somebody charged for murder who didn't actually commit murder is pretty unjust.

Well that is the justice system we have. They may not like it but they have to deal with it. I suspect they lacked evidence that showed the officers went there looking to kill someone. No malice aforethought.

I’m thinking of all those other families of victims whose loved one was never acknowledged, who didn’t have a day in court, whose story has not been heard, who recieved no compensation, and how, with every new murder, their lonely pain is dragged out again.

Question, why did the police shoot in the first place?

Blame Breonna's boyfriend. He pulled his gun and shot at the police. Besides he was involved in drug dealing.

RealDLHughley Its offensive to all of us, period. SayHerName JusticeForBreonnaTaylor

Struck by grief and they want change, well how about donating a sizeable portion of that $12m back into the community, or a worthy cause that can spark change? 🥴

RealDLHughley

Maybe they should be upset w her boyfriend who fired at the police...just saying...

Then why did she take her 12 million and run.......she knew her kid was selling drugs....parents always know

Sierra8News Charge the thug boyfriend with involuntary manslaughter

An officer has a right to defend themselves when getting shot at even during a court authorized search warrant (no it was not a no-knock warrant). Taylor was knee deep in the drug trade. Her death is tragedy though. The Grand Jury spoke and correctly decided on no murder charges.

Oh shut up and go spend your $12 million

Were you worried she was living with a drug dealer too?

I mean... Breonna's boyfriend shot first at the officers, and the officers returned fire. The grand jury, after looking at all the evidence in the case, determined it was not homicide. The justice system worked. You just don't like the result.

The moral of the story: Don’t be a criminal, don’t associate with criminals.

Drugs are a big problem around the world. Not only here.. At nearly every party I attend I’m offered me meth or cocaine. I hate this stuff. Okay well I like beer and whiskey but I think alcohol is different. alcohol is legal, and street drugs aren’t.

I guess that’s why you don’t date trigger happy drug dealers.

This is just propaganda, not real journalism.

Was ABC really expecting a different results? A judge Initiated a search warrant. The police went to executive it. Breonna's boy friend shot at police. Police fired back. Traggic outcome but not Criminal.

I don’t think the officers had time to look and rationalize if the person shooting at them were black or white...... guess it would have been a different outcome then..... hmmmm

Memory?

It’s about the rule of law. Period.

Colonial terrorist have no interest in remembering Black AMERICAN lives!

When officers are shot at, they have a right to shoot back. Breonna Taylor would be alive today if her boyfriend did not fire at police AFTER they knocked and announced themselves as police, as verified by the neighbors. BidensRiots

Taylor’s boyfriend opened fire, shooting a Louisville police sergeant, after the police knocked on the door and identified themselves while serving a warrant. Taylor was killed in the exchange of gunfire. Grow some balls and tell the truth!

It was accidental as they were firing back after being fired upon! Also there wasn’t a no knock warrant! I agree it’s tragic but not what the public is claiming

Heartbreaking Wikipedia entry BreonnaTaylor

I know, Its just so awful when actual facts don’t support your narrative!

You should tell her boyfriend not to shoot at cop and she would be alive

Why do the majority fail to live a life that they want to live?

You got $12 million dollars out of this...shut up n take your money

Well no shit family and supporters said that.

because they’re stupid and lack the ability to understand facts. dumb ppl are going to be a problem moving forward in this society. we have A LOT of really stupid people around.

She does not deserve one minute of publicity

The only reason they fired is they were being shot at. They were not being reckless. Had they not been shot at and only perceived a threat, from the wrong apt., and killed someone after firing into the dark.... maybe

🤔

This is why the riots must continue

Where was Breonna’s family when she was dating a drug dealer? What about the memory of the black kids who overdosed on Breonna’s bf’s drugs?

It was a tragedy that didn't have to happen. The details of it all will be debatable for years to come but the facts point to the police being fired upon first and returning fire.

Care to explain the actual facts vs emotions? Has false narratives caused more divisions?

Her drug dealing memory. Read the report “mom”.

Yeah. Whatever. Pick up a law book and maybe y’all will understand 🤷🏽‍♂️

Please stop using the word 'offensive' i take offense to that.

how the fuck were they not charged they shot her in her sleep!

She was handling a drug dealer’s money. It’s on the jailhouse tapes. She’s dead because her BFwho was obviously aware that she was in bed with drug dealers was afraid of who was knocking on the door. The warrant was justified. The officers returning fire was justified.

Basically Kentucky said it's not a crime to shoot a black woman only to miss badly while trying to do so.
