It's one more walk around the arena grounds for Riley Wilson so the judge can view all the animals in the American Division.Bondy Intermediate School eighth-grade student Riley Wilson had some tense moments waiting for judging results for Aggie, her 1,000-pound Brahman heifer at this week's Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Wilson, 13, said the moment on Tuesday was worth all those visits to the agriculture barn at Pasadena Memorial High School at the crack of dawn. Capping the achievement was when Bondy Principal Roneka Lee was on hand to congratulate Wilson and other students with animals in the competition. Because there is no junior high division in the animal judging, Wilson was listed as representing Pasadena Memorial High School. The student showing the grand champion animal was from the Clear Creek Independent School District.
