The commotion caught those in the neighborhood by surprise. They tried getting clarity from officers on the scene.
"I asked them, I said, like 'What's going on - because we live here? And it's like, should we be concerned? What's really going on?'" said Annette Marroquin."And he said, 'Well, somebody shot someone. I said 'Oh. Good to know.'""Honestly, at first, I thought it could have been like fireworks from a different place. But then I kept looking outside, and all I just saw were cop cars," said Marlon Marroquin.
Police have not said how many officers fired their weapons, and we don't know if the two neighbors involved in the initial quarrel live next-door to each other – nor what started the confrontation.Police said it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
