Mr. CEO of Boeing, DIGNITY should prevail over arguments. HOWEVER, instead of one of Boeing's representatives who stated on the TV 'MAX is the safer airplane' he should follow your example and ask just 'sorry'. Please throw him out of the company

You still there BoeingCEO? Time to hand in that letter mate.

This could be the end of Boeing. Politically this is massive in the US

How can people be sure to fly Boeing's plane? Who is going to approve and authorize, as the previous is failed?

The news reported on USA Today need to be corrected: The preliminary report says the pilots are unable to control not 'Failed' to control.

Dennis Muilenburg, you should be in jail. Profit for such a loss of life? Your excuses are nothing more than just corporate pep talk.

I lost many brothers & sisters, Crew JT 610, so sad

Sorry u got caught sure but not sorry for the loss , if u truly were, u wouldve recalled all planes after lion just to investigate further. Why did it have to cost so many lives? Why is the damn thing still flying? Youve ruined lives of families all for profit, shame on you

Now they put their TOP engineers on resolving it!

apology is not enough for the victim. Boeing was take all the risk so Boeing to call the families and start compensation procedures for the victim's family.

Go to jail

Boeing should not wait for law suits. They need to call the families and start compensation procedures.

Thanks for coming out clean. You are a true honest African in heart.

Weird that it took another plane crashing for you to acknowledge your part in this BoeingCEO

did his lawyers draft that statement? Could not have come of worse. Would have been better not to say anything.

shanedawson Looks like you were right all along😟

Is the Boeing 737Max a new Ford Pinto?

Trump and FAA,..Just as responsible...they fast track plane..government deregulation

That's not an apology. It's a sorry for the lost. And no mistake or any faulty is mentioned.

I worked 13 yrs for Boeing, and not proud of it....

LIAR! You only agreed to work with investigators only after you were forced to do so. Days immediately after the crash, Boeing INSISTED that those planes were safe and REFUSED to ground the defective planes. Dennis Muilenburg needs to resign effective immediately.

Not enough. He placed profits over lives. Demanded that any MAX changes not require simulator training. Was too slow to respond to both Lion Air crash and Ethiopian Air crash. He needs to go.

Not accepted, blood on your hands the more info that comes out about the Max and the software issues.

This is what happens with self regulation. Can’t wait for the pork industry to self regulate

Oh, sorry killed over 300 people. Took responsibility. Now let's move on! Thoughts & prayers.

He just tries to keep his salary.....

Truly sorry for the souls lost on these 2 crashes. Never been afraid to fly but now to have to wonder if a softwear engineer did their job correctly. Boeing BoeingCEO do not deserve to be forgiven.

You can keep your apology. It won’t bring back the lives lost. This should have never happened. Your company was aware of a software issue and you did nothing.

Lockhimup

🖕🏽

More corporate greed. Plain and simple.

Well that should do it

Volunteer to me for forcing employees to volunteer free time for Boeing events or no raise

Aircraft are complex system including complex software. Bottomline: Software can be unit and integration tested, but only real world testing can fill gaps in prestaged scenario testing. Easy to second guess Boeing CEO but they are aware safety is expected in their product.

He needs to resign not apologize.

Apologize to me for forcing me to volunteer free time or no raise

That won't bring back those who were killed.

Have they checked the 'Remote Pilot' chip?

Shouldn’t have happened in the first place if the FAA had a stricter acceptance criteria.

He needs to go to prison

We're sorry. Our bad.

It has been decades of trying to cover it up, paying and knowingly mislead investigators and agencies. A bloody 'sorry' is not enough!. You knew it... Pay the victims relatives and the fix for the planes.

There should be criminal liability. If reports are true, Boeing wrote contracts that promised compensation if technical changes required pilot training after the order was signed, then pressured staff not to require pilot simulation training when serious changes were made.

Better scrap them because no one will want to fly them.

He needs to resign.

Apologies do not bring back lives. Good management saves lives! Good Over Sight keeps lives safe!!!

not enough

Boeing is still working on software fix, five months after Indonesia plane crashBoeing and the FAA have been working for months to design, test and certify a software fix for the 737 MAX flight control systems, an important step towards returning the grounded airplanes to flight. I wonder if any software development was outsourced to save costs Boeing needs to go back to square one with the 737 MAX 8. Software patches are a quick cheap fix for a death trap. No thanks.
