The cause of death is unknown, according to Ciaccia.
Ciaccia stated members of the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will take possession of the body to positively identify her and determine the cause and manner of death.Cause for concern grew when she did not show up for work on Monday at K&D, which her mother, Melissa Romanello, said was highly unusual.
Romanello filed a missing persons report in Cleveland when she did not hear from her daughter, and it was unlike her to not be in contact with friends and family.“The police said, ‘well how do we know she’s not there willingly?’” Romanello told 19 News the day before her daughter’s body was found. “something is wrong, something is wrong.”
Surveillance cameras showed Hamilton was last seen with this man, who Romanello said she did not recognize.
