Kulick originally auditioned for Kiss in 1972, but was passed over in favor of Ace Frehley. However, the guitarist toured and worked in the studio with the band for numerous years. He also worked on Kiss singer Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album., and was part of Meat Loaf's touring band, the Neverland Express. Ugh, another peer, colleague & someone I considered friend has passed. I worked with Bob Kulick on many recordings through the years, most notably the many tribute albums he produced.
Bob was never a 'member' of KISS. His brother Bruce Kulick was however. Bob was a studio guitarist, but a great loss to music industry.
We’ll never forget the one who’s also the co-writer behind “Sweet Victory”.
