A wind advisory remains in effect until 8pm Wednesday for Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Franklin counties. Wind gusts could reach 40-50 miles per hour until dusk. Winds do start to drop below IMPACT Day levels after sunset as temperatures fall to the lower 40s. Wind will remain blustery, gusting to 35 miles per hour this evening and then drop to gusts of 25 miles per hour overnight.
Add a 10-20 mph breeze, and it will feel like the upper teens to low 20s!We have to deal with the wind for one more day Thursday. It will be breezy and cooler, with highs near 44. Winds will diminish late, as high pressure settles overhead. Gusts of 30-35 mph from the northwest are possible. After a cold start in the 20s Friday, we'll see morning sunshine, then increasing clouds, ahead of low pressure moving up the East Coast.
