Mike Bloomberg takes fire from all sides during his first time on a 2020 DemDebate stage.

LAS VEGAS — The Democratic presidential debate on Wednesday night kicked off with fireworks, as every person on stage not named Mike Bloomberg attacked the former New York mayor, who was participating in his first presidential faceoff.came from front-runner Bernie Sanders, who rippedBloomberg for his record as mayor. Bloomberg promptly hit back, telling the senator he cannot beat President Donald Trump.

"I'd like to talk about who we're running against. A billionaire who calls women 'fat broads' and 'horse-faced lesbians,' and, no, I'm not talking about Donald Trump,” Warren said."I'm talking about Mayor Bloomberg." Moments later, Pete Buttigieg offered his criticism for Bloomberg, but broadened it to also include Sanders.

Considering all the attacks against him, it's clear they view him a significant threat. I just hope the Dems realize if they wound everyone, they're doing half of Trumps work for him. For how smart these candidates are supposed to be, cannibalizing their own is not the answer.

He was overwhelmed by the firing line of practiced debate veterans this evening. Perhaps get prepped up more before another debate. Maybe he thought it was going to be easy

I mean wasn't that your goal? The questions you asked and the way you held tonight, bashing not only Bloomberg but all of them, just did one thing...re-elect realDonaldTrump DemocraticDebate

NY the biggest city in the country. Cleaner, Safer, and Thriving, more than any other time while Mike was mayor. MikeBloomberg the US is a large business, like it or not. He knows how to run those successfully. He was terrible tonight. He’ll need to be better.

Warren hogged the stage and focused on negatives. Buttegeig the same. Klobuchar and Bloomberg were the only two I would vote for.

The One With Bloomberg—Yet Another Democratic Debate LiveblogHow many debates is too many? In 2015 the Democratic National Committee concluded six to be a “reasonable number,” enough to give candidates ample airing without diverting from the party’s bylaws. Yet there’s nothing reasonable about this year’s all-out Democratic brawl, egged on by a constant drumbeat of debates, which have now ballooned to 12; six are crammed in the first quarter of 2020. All of which leaves room for, say, a well-connected billionaire to sit out the early battles and emerge, Hunger Games-style, to plow through a handful of tributes for an easy District One victory! I digress. I hear crickets JoeBiden2020 Biden2020President But he looks like the Cheshire Cat in this photo

Pete Buttigieg turns fire on 'socialist' Bernie Sanders amid Bloomberg pile-onAs the Democrats took aim at the ascending candidate Mike Bloomberg, former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg saved a bit of debate fire for front-runner Sen. Bernie Sanders. Bernie calls himself a socialist but he is not, he is more of an advocate for a Nordic style capitalism, Its still capitalism but a different version where people don’t get left behind and can share in on benefits of society.
