Police are investigating allegations of bullying against a Haggard Middle School student in Plano, Texas.School officials and local police are investigating a Texas mother's allegations that her son, a Black middle schooler, was repeatedly bullied and forced to drink urine by a group of students.
The mother went on to write that her son's inhaler was taken by a coach, he was called racial and homophobic slurs, attacked with a BB gun, and forced to drink urine from a cup. It's not clear what happened before or after the video and NBC News has not verified or confirmed the claims that the boy was forced to drink urine. A GoFundMe set up on behalf of the family says the alleged incident happened at a recent sleepover at a student's house.
The Plano Independent School District said it first became aware of the alleged incident on Tuesday"and is working with the campus and local law enforcement to actively investigate the matter."

I hate how if it happens in school, we're supposed to suck it up but if it happened to an adult at work, charges would be laid. I will never forget being grabbed by the neck and having my head smashed into a wall by a student while the teacher did nothing. Poor child.

Whether the urine incident happened at school or not, the bully culture was tolerated by the school adult who concluded “boys will be boys” when the locker room incidents were reported. There is good-natured rough housing, and then there is bullying. It’s not the same.

One of two things happened here: Either this is a case of bad bullying by a group that includes other black kids, or it is completely made up. Zero chance it’s a group of white kids picking on a black kid like the headline suggests.
