I had to look-up the definition of 'Bird scooter'.

Another schlub looking for a quick payday.

Throw out the law suit. Scooter riders have long been told to stay off the sidewalk. They endanger even agile pedestrians. Think how much danger they create for people in wheelchairs, people using walkers or canes, parents pushing strollers, people walking dogs.

Well get in line and make sure bring your lunch because you are the only one

Riding a motorized vehicle on the sidewalk?

Scooters shouldn’t be on sidewalks. In Democrat California, sidewalks are reserved for the homeless

😳

Wait. You can sue the city for a broken sidewalk? Wish I knew that a few years ago when I tripped on one and couldn’t get back up. Crawled back home and called out of work that day

just ban all the scooters alreasy

'. CVC §21235 notes that the operator of an e-scooter can legally ride on a sidewalk if they are leaving or entering an “adjacent property.” Besides this reason, it's illegal to ride e-scooters on sidewalks, that includes Lime, Bird, Spin, Scoot, Lyft, Uber and Skip.'

It's illegal even for bicycles more so this Scooter guy. Can't read English or something. Side walks nowadays are filled with Illegal food vendors and homeless.

It tells you when you use the app not to ride on sidewalks…….

Haha...good luck

So the person used a motorized vehicle that was meant to be driven on the road and is upset that they didn't see or avoid a crack in the surface of the sidewalk, so they sued the city for their stupidity? The lawyer who filed the suit should be held liable for the legal fess.
