Not saying everyone should know who Van Halen is, I just hate to see the disrespect. Their style of music and Eddie’s guitar playing changed the way everyone played guitar. I’m convinced Micheal Jackson’s Thriller album would not have broken the mold without Eddie’s playing on it

The days of knowing older pop culture is over. Everything is on demand now. It would take a certain type of kid to seek it out or a parent that showed them the stuff. Unlike kids of the 80s and 90s who had to listen and watch whatever was on the radio and on TV.
