Sanders working to get prescription drug price provision in social spending billProgressive U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders said on Sunday that he was still working on getting a provision to lower prescription drug prices into the social spending bill pending in the U.S. Congress before a vote by the House of Representatives. He forgot one thing. Lobbyists run government with all there kickbacks and campaign contributions. Big Pharma will not give up there sweetheart profits for NO American. Why does Congress insist on loading a bill with many different agendas? Why not write individual bills: prescription drug bill, infrastructure bill (bridges, highways, etc), climate bill, etc. Keep it simple and remove the fluff and special interest junk.
