I miss when kdramas were a season so they made sure to solve most plot points instead of leaving unanswered questions just for s2 bait. The cast was excellent & did an amazing job. It's unfortunate that the writers ended it that way when they had been telling such a strong story.

The story is focused on big mouse/park changho and not with their love story. And maybe that is the reason why there was no kissing scene and only light scenes between changho and miho. Still hoping for season 2, continuation of Changho's journey as the official big mouse.
