As we grow to a 16-team league, the best conference in basketball just got better.” We didn’t know it at the time, but that ended up being the nail in the Pac-12’s coffin as every team in the league except Oregon State and Washington State scrambled to other leagues.
With the realignment wars cooled off, it would be easy to expect Yormark to relax and take a breath after keeping the Big 12 alive, but the commissioner continues to be aggressive with his pursuits inside and outside of the league.
