Former Vice President Joe Biden earned the endorsement of Alabama's lone Democratic U.S. House member, Rep. Terri Sewell, the 11th member of the Congressional Black Caucus to back Biden’s presidential bid.

"For most Democrats, they are looking for a candidate that can be President Trump and Vice President Biden is perceived by most Democrats, and particularly African Americans, to be the candidate who could most beat Trump," said Fredrick Harris, a political science professor at Columbia University, with a focus on African American politics.

Former Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden takes a selfie at a campaign event, Jan. 11, 2020, in Las Vegas.Advisers to Biden have consistently cited the former vice president’s ability to build a broad coalition of support as evidence he is the candidate best suited for the Democratic nomination, as no candidate has secured a position at the top of the ticket without gaining a majority of support from African American voters since 1992.

Earlier this month Buttigieg picked up his first endorsement from a member of the CBC, Maryland Rep. Anthony Brown, who also now serves as the campaign’s first national co-chair. Democratic presidential candidate and former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg addresses a gathering during a campaign stop in Concord, N.H., Jan. 17, 2020.With the departures of Harris and Booker from the 2020 race, only two other members of the CBC have endorsed candidates currently running: Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley is backing Warren, while Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is backing Sanders.

Who cares!

Of course. The fact is ALL establishment Democrats will endorse Biden. This is the DNC plan, just as it was with Hillary in 2016. The DNC has learned nothing!

Trump got 8% of the black vote in 2016 Trump's approval rating among black americans is now between 30-35% depending on the poll - Full panic mode for the Socialist / 'Democrat' Cult. If Trump were to secure even part of that % in the voting booth - landslide!

Just because you surround yourself with black men and women does not mean they like you. You and Obama had 8 years to do something for blacks of this country and you both did NOTHING. 8 years of NOTHING. Now you think you're the black savior.

I have much respect for MLK. However It’s not about legacy, it’s about what God wants and how can you support a party that murders babies for one. If you are a Christian you shouldn’t be supporting murder.

Puppets of puppets of puppets of puppets of... etc

Either idiotic or dirty. You bet.

Joe is part of the problem, not the solution.

Old white man on track to win the Democratic nomination.

Could careless! The white house won't be given to the democrat party. Definitely not the president's seat. Trump's will remain occupying that seat for 4 more years whether you or them like it or not.

Nice try. Most blacks know Biden is as racist as a typical Republican... ... because he IS a Republican.

A 'SHOE IN' FOR JOE!!

How Joe Biden defended his Iraq voteBiden continued to make the case that going into Iraq was justified in the months after the invasion and instead argued that the Bush administration bungled the execution of the war. It was not until 2005 that Biden acknowledged his vote was a “mistake.” It is very worrying that Syrian civilians are still being killed in Idlib. They are not protected. Trump is seeking to increase tensions with Iraq. He must withdraw his forces. And the rest is (still) history. See my book:
