The First Dogs arrived at the White House, Jan. 23, 2020, including Major, the first rescue dog ever to live in the White House.
"Champ is enjoying his new dog bed by the fireplace, and Major loved running around on the South Lawn," the first lady's office said in a statement.White House press secretary Jen Psaki predicted in aposted Sunday that Biden's first cat would"dominate the internet" when the cat is publicly revealed for the first time.
Just a few days ahead of Biden's Inauguration Day, the Delaware Humane Association -- where Major was adopted from -- was hosting an"indoguration"via Zoom. Touted as the world's largest virtual party for dogs, it was actually a fundraiser for the association.

This just in- the dogs have now pooped on the White House lawn. Is this a natural occurrence or a political statement? The dogs have not returned our request for comment.
Last time I took my dogs to the vet, we came out to an aggressive German shepherd. The vet said “as I was saying about German shepherds” (talking to the receptionist) and suggested we go out the back door. Didn’t ask what she was talking about, maybe next time.
