Cornelius and Francois opened with a 7-6 , 3-6, 6-3 win over Mason’s Risha Chada and Harshita Uppuganti and then beat North Canton Hoover’s Claire Wood and Angelina Koinoglou 6-2, 6-3 in a quarterfinal.
“I looked at the draw and just do my best and see what I can come up with,” Gerald said. “ ready to go out swinging.”
