Former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg ended his presidential bid on Sunday night, announcing the"difficult decision" in an emotional speech.
Twenty-one percent of Buttigieg supporters who participated in the poll, which saw a total of 13,428 Democratic primary voters surveyed, said they would go for Sanders as a second choice. "By every conventional wisdom, by every historical measure, we were never supposed to get anywhere at all," Buttigieg told supporters on Sunday."Iowa shocked the nation, and along that way, an improbable hope became an undeniable reality."
HOLD UP! The (meaningless) poll was conducted over a GRAND TOTAL of 13,428 D voters. 21% choosing Bernie over Biden (19%) meaning 2,820 voters chose Bernie to 2,551 for Biden. That’s a difference of 269 whole voters. Not exactly the mandate the title of this piece would indicate

Biden is best choice for Pete to be able to stay involved in public service. I don't see Bernie respecting him enough to find a place for him and Pete warned of his divisiveness in his speeches.
With their vile attacks on Pete, Sanders supporters helped saw off the sanctimonious branch Bernie has been perched on -- we will give our votes to whomever Pete supports, and our money to down-ballot Dems.

I don’t believe this for a second... just like I never believed the MSM push to claim he had zero Black support when if you actually looked at his campaign he did but those voices were silenced and so the country never got a chance to hear it.

Most voters don’t vote based on ideologies but those out of touch DC pundits on CNN and MSNBC would like you to believe otherwise. This is also why they got the Trump phenomenon wrong in 2016. Sanders lost a lot of rural voters to Buttigieg and he’s likely to get them back.
