Police said the man was armed with a semiautomatic rifle when he threatened construction workers in Bellevue.BELLEVUE, Wash. — A 74-year-old man who’s accused of threatening workers with a rifle was arrested on Tuesday, according to Bellevue police.

Police said the man was armed with a semiautomatic rifle when he threatened construction workers in the 1100 block of 106th Avenue Northeast at 4:20 p.m.The man surrendered and police seized his weapon.

They never said why he was out there with a gun

CUDOS on you for getting the nomenclature of the weapon correct!!

There is actually no information in that link whatsoever. Did the man brandish the weapon as a threat? Was the weapon on his person only? What was the threat to go get them a cup of coffee? This is an open carry state you can legally possess and carry a firearm.

Can we get some clarification on the story please in the picture you show an individual holding what looks like a rifle, but it doesn’t look like a rifle for some odd reason
