A Chinese steamed bun shop has set up a wooden board to deliver its buns to customers to avoid contamination from coronavirus

BEIJING - A Chinese steamed bun shop in Beijing is using a piece of wooden board to deliver its buns to customers amid the coronavirus outbreak.

A notice on the shop’s front door advises customers to scan a QR code to place orders, in order to avoid direct contact with staff. For the elderly, who may not know how to use mobile payments, staff hold out a plastic box attached to a stick for them to place the cash.

useless,,,

Staggeringly pointless. Wash your hands before touching anything.

Except for the money bucket 🙄

Necessity is the mother of invention. That cash thingamajig tho' needs a little tweaking so no bare hands come in direct contact with it.

Cute pr

Earnest hopes and prayers that China will recover from this crisis soon. That a vaccine can be developed and all people suffering from the coronavirus will survive and get back to health.

A wooden board is news to you... pathetic news source

Kind of a mute point when they bring in the little bucket of money that the person just touched.

More plastic Really? They're 'safe' but the environment is dead....

They need a robot delivery boy

False security sense, the money basket they are touch it.

I really wish we had Chinese style steamed buns in the UK.

I wouldn't want my buns contaminated either.
