She wants “workers to keep the jobs they want.” As well, she would like Saskatchewan workers and materials to have priority when public dollars are spent on infrastructure.
Harvey said she would like to focus on shifting from harm reduction to harm prevention. This includes community-based health risk assessments. She said the approach needs to be transparent.Beck has said people need to recognize the reality of climate change, adding that working people shouldn’t be ignored when developing a plan. She said investments in new technologies, like wind, solar and geothermal, can make Saskatchewan a leader.
