Strange headline, since every store in Oakland since masking was initially req in 2020 has been staffed & patronized by mask-wearing people. We never stopped. Of course we don't like wearing them, but do it to protect each other. (Just wish my glasses stopped fogging up!) Didn't kim Jong Newsom institute an all mask mandate from Dec 15 thru Jan 15? So why do the counties need to do anything? Their boards need to feel all powerful, bc he keeping all power for himself in this state of emergency.
